The festival will feature three evening theatre productions with the biggest highlight – Prague’s Jára Cimrman Theatre and their play The Stand-In.

Festival Pass holders can purchase discounted tickets, Off-Programme Pass holders and non-holders can buy tickets for standard prices.

Us Boys Who Go Out Together: Conscientiously Unprepared

A story of a smart young man imprisoned in his disfigured body. “A musical about the beauty of ugliness” is part of the Brejlando project and was made for a 360 camera and audio to bring the best virtual experience.

Poverty was one of the many unfortunate aspects of Cimrman’s life. It was the reason why his travelling ensemble Lipany was constantly short of actors. If things were set well in advance, all would go smoothly. But once a heated argument or a door slamming appeared before a play, it gave the actors and the director a really hard time. And that’s the key substance of Substitute. It reflects the most fulfilled part of Cimrman’s life – his life in the theatre.
